Dakota Clock Works, 306 Main Street S., Glen Ullin, NDWARRANTY:Please be advised that the clock movement manufactures, which Dakota Clock Works represents, warrant the performance of their clock movements for a period of one calendar year from the date of purchase. In order for you clock movement warranty to be valid, it must be unpacked, set up and operated in accordance common horological procedures appropriate for the type of movement. SHIPPING:Dakota Clock Works ships by common carrier. If your clock is damaged in shipment you must notate the particular damage to the carton on the freight bill that you sign, in order for your claim to be valid, there will be no exceptions to this procedure. Examples of such notation may be a dented box in two corners@ or a box has come apart on side@, or a box is pleated on bottom@, etc.. Should you fail to notate any damage on your delivery freight bill, your ability to seek reimbursement for damages to the clock inside the box will be void! If the damage is obviously to the clock movement inside the box, and you notice it while delivery is being made, you should refuse the shipment. Please notify us immediately of such refusal of shipment. A replacement can then be sent, and we will handle the claim process. Please remember, if you accept the delivery by a freight company of a damaged clock movement, even if the damage is hidden until the carton is open, and you fail to note any indication of damage directly on the freight bill, we will be unable to assist you with your claim. In that event, you will have to process your claim with the freight company. As such, it is imperative that you inspect your clock immediately after delivery. If the shipment consists of more than one carton; an example would be a shipment containing four cartons labeled as 1 of 4, 2 of 4, 3 of 4, & 4 of 4. If the transportation company delivers three of the four cartons and you sign for the shipment, your only recourse is to file a claim through the transportation company. Dakota Clock Sales will not provide replacement parts for parts that you signed for, but were not delivered. We will not accept the return of any clock movements shipped to you unless such return is due to your refusal of the clock for the noted cause of damage at the time of the clock=s delivery to you. If you have refused a clock, you must contact us immediately by calling (701) 348-9133. If you are calling after hours, please leave a message providing your name, address and telephone number where you can be reached and an agent of Dakota Clock Works will return your call upon receipt of the same.
